For children in the classroom and at home, using crayons provides so many benefits that we often don’t think about. Crayons are one of the first writing utensils that a child comes in contact with, and their early days of coloring can teach them how to use a certain grip to be able to have some control over their crayon. Something as simple as learning how to hold their crayons can help children later on when they have to start gripping pens and pencils correctly for proper penmanship. This is a life skill that everyone needs to learn, and it can definitely help a child out in their upcoming school years when their classrooms are a buzz of excitement and they need to be able to focus on what they are working on as individuals. Although using a box of crayons on a regular basis can really make an impact on a child, the sad news is that not every child has them available.

Simply color along the edge of the image with the pencil, and use the blender pen to ”pull” the color into the desired area.
