Tesoro pays for violations

Tesoro Corp., based out of San Antonio, Texas, has agreed to pay $260,000 in fines to resolve 23 violations dating back to 2011. Tesoro’s refinery in Contra Costa, Cali., exceeded its limits on emissions of nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide and had leaks in tanks.  The company also failed to monitor the emissions properly and failed to report the violations. ...
