I have tried using Mandala on my son and it is showing great results.
Look at the Christian’s usage of the labyrinth or marvel at the mandala healing ceremony performed by American Indians and you will find that the sacred circle has transcended its ancient roots. Many present-day religions and civilizations have come to view the mandala, with its gentle symmetry, as a symbol of the balance in nature, the unity within the world, and the harmony we all seek within our lives. Even the world renowned psychologist and founder of analytical psychology, Carl Jung was struck by the healing abilities of the mandala. Licensed art therapists use mandala coloring as a way to help patients end anxiety and learn stress relief.
1. The fun part – you can only do it right!
d. Stay completely present to the process.
Just this colour.
Adults can also find coloring helpful for relaxation, and it may even serve as an alternative to formal meditation. Coloring is a way to quiet the mind, listen inwardly and open up to higher knowledge, healing, and creativity. People of all ages have used this sort of activity instinctively, such as knitting or doodling. When a structured by creative activity occupies our hands and eyes but not of our concentration, it leaves an opening for the creative suspension of the inner mental chatter. During these times we are freed from habitual urges, as well as mental and emotional discord. Science and medicine have also discerned that this state optimizes the self-regenerative powers of our bodies.
