The older children, on the other hand, may be a little bit more aware of the dangers, but they also let to see how far they can push it and have begun to discover how fun a little adrenaline can be. This can lead to some very serious injuries.
The natural playgrounds are more charming, welcoming, accessible, and reject the idea of discrimination. Children are bound to play certain games in the commercial playground and this is a practice that restricts their mental capabilities and curbs creativity. On the contrary, a natural playground promotes free play where children are motivated to utilize their imagination and enjoy free play. Kids do not like to be dictated; this is a natural phenomenon that exists in them.
These are the main factors to consider when setting up a playground at home:
One has to study the place of playground. Gather information carefully, like how an adult can access the playground with their children, if commercial then you may wish to consider parking areas, surfacing or maybe even bike stands and shelters. Also you may wish to consider the weight of children at any given time, this of course will come into play when you have an initial design and structure of the playground, most good companies can accommodate to your regulated specifications, they are even there to help you with age limits, weight and size if need be.
1. Make a theme for your playground – If you find that your child is actually inclined to like a specific cartoon character, then it would be good to build from that and then make your kid’s playground based from the said theme. This way, you can really work around something that he actually likes. Having a specific theme for the kid’s playground also allows him to become easily comfortable with his surroundings. This can also be a fun way for you to extend the playground as a bonding spot for you and your child as you tell stories related to the characters found in the said area.
In case you want to have swings then it has to be placed separately in the ground. Also if you have several activities involved with physical exercises like jumping ropes or throwing balls then also separate these areas from the common playing areas – I think you get the idea.
