For children in the classroom and at home, using crayons provides so many benefits that we often don’t think about. Crayons are one of the first writing utensils that a child comes in contact with, and their early days of coloring can teach them how to use a certain grip to be able to have some control over their crayon. Something as simple as learning how to hold their crayons can help children later on when they have to start gripping pens and pencils correctly for proper penmanship.
