2. Use non-toxic materials – Kids tend to be very curious with the things around them and before you knew it, they might be putting stuff inside their mouth especially when you can’t see them. To help prevent unwanted events from happening, you should make sure that the stuff you have around the playground are safe and non-toxic. Some materials can also harm your kid’s skin or even cause sudden allergies if they are not made to be non-toxic.
Specialized Play Areas – Specialized play areas are quite easy to create. A wide paved area can become a basketball court with the addition of a couple of inexpensive portable hoops and a few dabs of masonry paint can create a permanent hopscotch area.
Spinning equipment has dramatically changed from the old style carousels which could be dangerous to a new style which involves a standing platform and central pole which children can stand on and spin. There are also large discs with a dip in the middle that children can sit on and spin. These are brilliant for children to learn how to control weight distribution and can be used both individually and within a group.
Kids love their fun and break periods. In fact, most kids look forward to their playtime and are very happy and excited when the bell for playtime goes off. Most of the time, these kids spend a lot of their time in playground which is where they often get to have fun. These periods are usually spent in the general local and neighborhood playground, school and other playground et.c.
One has to study the place of playground. Gather information carefully, like how an adult can access the playground with their children, if commercial then you may wish to consider parking areas, surfacing or maybe even bike stands and shelters. Also you may wish to consider the weight of children at any given time, this of course will come into play when you have an initial design and structure of the playground, most good companies can accommodate to your regulated specifications, they are even there to help you with age limits, weight and size if need be.
Never forget that your child’s safety is your sole responsibility when your home becomes the playground. There is loads of fun to be had, but do your most to make sure every day ends with a smile by doing your due diligence.
