If you were to see yourself as we view you your breath would be taken away. You would be overwhelmed with the magnificence, the radiance, and the glory, of who and what you are. That which you call color and that which we call light is ever moving, changing, expanding, and radiating. The spectrum of colors is so broad that the human eye and understanding cannot begin to imagine, envision, that which is real. You view a box of color crayons with awe and wonder at all the various hues and blends. We would say unto you, even the most drab of individuals, by your estimation, is more radiant than even the largest box of crayons than you have ever seen. The universe has energies and lights that only in your dreams and meditations can you begin to understand. Seek to know yourself, your true self, and you shall begin to comprehend the true beauty of that which is you, that which is real.

What mother of preschoolers or other children hasn’t found broken crayons in the couch, under the couch, and all over the floor? You may even have been frustrated to find a crayon in the laundry, way after it’s too late to salvage the clothes in that load. Help your child create crayon wax-melting art to keep from having to throw all the broken crayons away.

There are coloring books of every type available for a low price, plus there are pages on the web that you download for free. There are wonderful stained glass types of coloring books that you use colored pencils to color and then put the picture on a window facing the sun and the effect is truly fantastic. Every time you look at it you will re-capture the pleasure you had in creating your masterpiece.

I must admit that personally I bought into this concept hook, line and sinker. When my two older daughters were small, I colored with them, and enjoyed doing it. I never realized the calming effect it had on both the girls and me.

Another way to apply color is by rubbing your pencil crayon on a piece of scrap and ”dipping” the blender pen into the color before applying. This will create a softer effect. Another way to watercolor is by using your ink pad. With the lid shut, push in the middle of the pad to create a pool of ink on the lid. Then you simply dip your blender pen into the ink and paint into the image. By doing this, you can create a stronger coloring effect.
