My older daughter continued to draw; she especially drew mandalas and other geometric types of pictures. I was proud of her endeavors for they were truly beautiful. Years passed and any thought of coloring was far from my mind, then after my third daughter was born, coloring resurfaced. The universe has energies and lights that only in your dreams and meditations can you begin to understand. Seek to know yourself, your true self, and you shall begin to comprehend the true beauty of that which is you, that which is real.

I also found out that there are no rules when it comes to coloring, color outside the lines; it is surprising a way of breaking the rules, and it feels so good. There are no coloring police to arrest you for breaking the color inside the lines rule. Nor do you have to follow the instructions and use the suggested colors. It is a release that is outstanding.

Markers are also a popular choice for coloring in stamps because of how easy they are to use. Simply color in the stamped image. If you have watercolor markers you may be able to use a blender pen to mix the colors, or create a softer look. Whatever color method you choose, it is generally a good idea to use a spray fixative to secure the colors. Do not use hairspray for this job because over time it will yellow the images and the paper.
